Road bike tyres are narrow, lightweight bicycle tyres designed for speed and low rolling resistance. They are typically offered as folding tyres and consist of a casing with a rubber compound, whose construction and hardness are decisive for puncture protection, grip and ride feel. Models such as the Schwalbe Lugano II, ONE 365 or ONE PLUS illustrate the range: from dependable entry-level tyres to all-weather variants and race-oriented performance tyres. Many current tyres are also tubeless-ready (TLR) and can be run without an inner tube using sealant.
When choosing, first match the tyre size to your rim and the frame manufacturer's specifications – 28-inch (700c) diameters with various widths are common. Also important: the riding conditions. Wider, more robustly built tyres with greater puncture protection suit training and bad weather, while lightweight, narrow models are better for racing and dry conditions. Also pay attention to the recommended tyre pressure and whether the tyre is a folding or wire-bead tyre, so that it matches your mounting method and rim.

After DPD failed for the second time, they arranged a different courier and even upgraded me to a higher-tier bike at no extra cost. The bike itself looks solid, is well built, and comes with high-quality components…

I bought 2 folding Karbon bikes to use from my yacht. Very happy about the purchase. They are high quality and very low weight, but stiff and has a good geometry. They came in my case with mudrails and rear rack. No instructions were included, but very litle assembling to do and easy to figure out. Rinosbike replies swiftly on both email and phone call. I took delivery on Madeira, so shipping time was 3 weeks. In no…
